Empowering meeting planners the world over to spot and stop human trafficking.
Tragically larger events in which tens of thousands of people gather in celebration, such as the Super Bowl, are often sites of human trafficking activities. Knowing that meeting planners are often on the front lines of large events and therefore the human trafficking epidemic, Meeting Planners International (MPI) turned to Redstory to develop a campaign meant to empower every planner with the tools needed to spot and stop human trafficking.
See it. Say it., debuted at the MPI 2021 Conference. The campaign, created by Redstory, included a series of videos aired from the main stage during the conference. The videos shed light on the myths versus reality about human trafficking and also led viewers to a website hosting an MPI Anti-Human Trafficking Awareness and Response Chapter Guide.
The Chapter Guide included a step by step approach for chapter leaders wanting to host their own anti-human trafficking event for their local chapter members. In this way, the message could be spread far and wide. The Guide included everything from the event agenda to social media templates for announcing and promoting the local chapter events.
“We could feel how passionate every Redstory team member was about being a part of the fight to end human trafficking. We knew this wasn’t just another project, their team creates an atmosphere of collaboration and inspiration, that is what makes them ideal partners.”
